For the active, there is a path around the historic Blackhead lighthouse, golf courses, and the open water, with opportunities to join in with sailing, rowing, swimming and paddle boarding.

The nearest large town is Carrickfergus, which features a Norman castle (built in 1180) and many other attraction, but Belfast is within easy reach, with its first class food scene, St George’s Market, Titanic Museum and great city centre.
